Do You Want To Get Rich?

Do You Want To Get Rich?
By Robert B Madison

Everyone wants to be rich. Who doesn't like the luxury of food, holidays shopping, house, and plastic money in your pocket? If you got the money, flaunt it. Numerous books have been written on this subject, classes and seminars have been taught by many who claim to portray you an easy way to get rich, rich people have given suggestions on how to get rich, and many other schemes have been developed that vouch you will get rich fast. Getting rich is one of the main aims of many people. Here are few tips on how to get rich.

One of the sure shot ways to get rich is to save money. You know the old adage "It takes money to make money." So start keeping away the extra money you're making now that you've procrastinated gratification as outlined previously. After all, what's the sense in giving up the things you like if you have a hole in your pocket? Start building a "get rich fund" at the bank. First always pay yourself. This means before you go and use your pay check on a new pair of shoes or a golf club you don't need, put money away in to an account that you don't touch. Do this all the time you get paid and watch your account aggravate.

Once you've piled your savings, start thinking of constructive ways to invest it. Sensible investment is a great way to get rich. This is where your definition of "rich" really comes into picture. If you're looking for status, for instance, a good investment would be education. If your aim is to retire early, on the other hand, invest that money in shares, stocks, bonds, or other vehicles of investment that will give you an annual return on investment (ROI) that's sufficient to maintain you in your retirement.

When you have well settled job, with a good salary, it gets a lot easier to get rich. Find a well reputed company, establishment or organization to work for. In the beginning you may not earn a lot of money up to your satisfaction, but after you gain experience in some field, money will automatically come to you.

In order to get rich, you will have to give up some of the things you enjoy doing right now, so that you can enjoy those things without delaying later. Try to cut down expenses, get a job that pays more or get a promotion, give up your car, downgrade your flat or apartment or house and allocate your spare time.

It's difficult to get rich, but it's even harder to stay rich. Your wealth is always going to be influenced by the market, and the market has its ups and downs. If you get too comfortable when times are good and conducive, you'll quickly drop back to square one when the market hits a slouch. Train yourself to save money, invest wisely and sensibly, don't spurge or waste money and have a positive mindset.
